At Be Well Psychology, we offer multicultural therapy in Calgary that is respectful, inclusive, and grounded in cultural humility. We recognize that culture, identity, family systems, history, and lived experience deeply shape mental health, healing, and how people experience therapy. Our goal is to provide a space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported without having to explain or defend their cultural context.
Our therapists are experienced in supporting individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. We work with newcomers, immigrants, first- and second-generation Canadians, and individuals navigating cross-cultural identity, intergenerational conflict, acculturation stress, racism, and systemic barriers. Therapy is tailored to honour cultural values while supporting emotional well-being, boundaries, communication, and resilience.
Be Well Psychology is committed to reconciliation-informed practice. Members of our team are trained in the Indigenous Blanket Exercise, allowing us to approach therapy with a deeper understanding of the historical and ongoing impacts of colonization, intergenerational trauma, and systemic inequity. We strive to provide culturally safe and trauma-informed care for Indigenous clients and allies.
To increase accessibility and comfort, we have therapists who speak Hindi and Punjabi, allowing clients to engage in therapy in the language that feels most natural and meaningful to them. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, family concerns, identity exploration, or life transitions, our multicultural counselling services in Calgary are grounded in respect, collaboration, and evidence-based care.
Multicultural therapy at Be Well Psychology is available in-person at our downtown Calgary office and through virtual sessions across Alberta.
