REGISTERED PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Alya (Alexis) Ilithyia Serghanuk

You’re doing your best, but something still feels like it’s missing. Perhaps it’s a sense of peace, clarity, confidence, or simply the ability to feel like yourself again. Life transitions, relationship stress, chronic health concerns, or past trauma can make it difficult to feel grounded and connected. If you’re experiencing overwhelm, anxiety, feeling disconnected from your body, or are unsure how to move forward, please know that you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this by yourself.

As a Registered Provisional Psychologist, I work with teens, couples, and adults of all ages who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, disordered eating, chronic health issues, and low self-esteem. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling exhausted by self-doubt, stuck in old patterns, or uncertain about how to create the changes they desire in their lives. Together, we’ll create a safe space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and rooted in compassion. I utilize evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, and DBT, and I often incorporate somatic techniques to help clients reconnect with their bodies and better manage their stress responses. Healing is more than just shifting thoughts—it’s about finding a deeper sense of self.

Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you, because I believe you are inherently whole and don’t need to be told what to do. Instead, it’s about uncovering the parts of yourself that may have been silenced or forgotten, building upon what you already know works, and opening up space for new possibilities. If you’re ready to reconnect with yourself and create lasting, meaningful change, I would be honoured to support you on your journey.
